USS Golden Gate NCC-2562
The USS Golden Gate NCC-2562 is an Athabaska Exploratory Cruiser. She is a multi-purpose starship and equipped to perform a variety of duties at the same time such as exploratory missions, First Contact operations, peacekeeping, scientific research, border patrol, and defense. Though an Explorer, the USS Golden Gate is similar to a heavy cruiser in that it is designed to perform missions both long-range and long-duration. It is equipped with strong defenses as exploration and diplomacy can encounter the unexpected in space. The unexpected can include responding to distress calls and transporting supplies and personnel to assist with medical emergencies, evacuating refugees, or joining in the defense of a planet or region overpowered by armed insurgents.
USS Angel NCC-753
The support vessel is the USS Angel, NCC-753, an Asmodeus Class, Light Corvette Starship. She is Commanded during Tactical situations by Major Benjamin Salisbury otherwise operational Command is given to Commodore Helene Donohue. Her task is to support not only the two AeroWings, Alcatraz and Farallones, NCC-2562/1&2 of the 49th SAR but will be the USS Golden Gate's Diplomatic strong arm. Typically the Asmodeus class corvette is used for missions and roles that Destroyers would not be effective for. These missions include convoy escort, light planetary defense missions, and convoy duty. In a diplomatic capacity, these could be first-contact missions, transferring away teams when a traditional transporter is unavailable, or ineffective.
USS Newfoundland NCC-1196
The USS Newfoundland NCC-1196 a Bonaventure Class Cruiser. Select the graphic above for more specifications on this ship design. She serves as home for our Cadet Corps of the 49th MTU training school for the Arts and Sciences. She is currently accepting applications from Cadets from age 5 through 17 who have been given a love or Star Trek by their parents and wish to continue that legacy.
Marines of the USS Golden Gate

They focus on Dress/Honor Functions, Community Safety and Neighborhood preparedness. This section of the Chapter is run by the Marine Officer in Charge and while reporting to the Commanding Officer also reports to the auxiliary Department in STARFLEET, Marines.
